On Saturday, after shopping with my husband for a new suit for his medical school interview, his mom and I took him to lunch at KNEADERS. It was the first time my husband and I had eaten there. Breakfast was just ending and as I was watching the couple next to us eat their THICK and I am only assuming DELICIOUS french toast, I was wishing that I could turn back time. As I was consuming my soup and bread, I looked over to the other table and saw a young college student eating a cinnamon roll and then I wondered why in the world I hadn't chosen that for lunch. As our conversation at the dinner table continued my mind started talking out loud, "Oh, you know what would be really good, if they combined a cinnamon roll and french toast?"
The next morning I found my sweet husband baking. He had just put the loaf of cinnamon roll bread in the oven. I squealed with excitement. "Oh, I can't wait for breakfast."
Here are some picture steps on how to make this DELICOUS breakfast
for your sweetheart and family.
We were given a great cinnamon roll recipe from a friend that is so yummy. When you are making French Toast you will just need to half it unless you want two loaves (which wouldn't be a bad thing either)!! If you want to use the recipe for cinnamon rolls, when it states cut to pan in the recipe just cut your cinnamon log into slices and Bake at 400 for 15 minutes instead. ENJOY!!!
