Bathroom Makeover

When redoing my home, there were lots of big projects to tackle. This bathroom was on top of my list. First, it screamed "health hazard". Second, bathrooms are one of my favorite projects. So, with my trusty crew (thanks dads, and husband) we tackled the mess head on.

Because of the mold issue, we tore everything out (yuck)! We put up all new waterproof drywall. And with a clean slate to work with, the fun began! Up went the tile and paint and in went the new fixtures. The end result, a place to soak and relax without worrying about an asthma attack.

  1. Your bathroom looks amazing. I remember when it was a little more open & rough. I don't think the drywall was water proof just water resistant. I love what you have done with the place.

    1. That's right, the drywall was water resistant. Also, I forgot to give credit where credit was due... Thank you Justin (and Dave) for your amazing drywall skills!

    1. Thanks Maren! When it came to colors, I used the tile around the tub and picked the colors to complement it.
