Tatar Tot Casserole


This recipe starts out with 1 lb. ground turkey or hamburger.  You can add a chopped onion to it while cooking if you like.  After the meat is cooked add 2 cans (14.5oz) of green beans and 2 cans (10.5 oz)  of cream of mushroom soup.  Let simmer.  Pour into a 9x13 pan.  Add a bag of frozen tatar tots to the top.  I like to bake the tatar tots before according to the directions on the bag.  It makes the tatar tots crispy.  You can either lay them out in an even manner or just throw them on top.  Sprinkle cheese on top is optional.  Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
